Relay National Summit

My UW Purple Glove Dance music video (video below) was chosen to be played at the Relay National Summit. Really exciting. They actually asked me about it months ago, but I didn't know that it was for the National Summit, I thought they just wanted the video for archive or something. This is what I get for skimming emails. It even made onto a DVD! We didn't win the competition, actually we lost by like 25,000 views. But the fact that it was chosen from like 200 hundred videos it was a great honor, and most importantly it got watched and its spreading. The point of the video was to spread the word that cancer is there but one doesn't have to face it alone. Winning would have been nice, but wasn't the reason of why I made the video. Thanks to everyone who has watched and helped with the video!

The beat is amazing, the lyrics really hit home, gave me some chills. I miss him so much, but theres nothing I can do about it. When I hangout with him, I can be myself. He knows enough about me that there is no pressure, I can tell him just about everything. He cares about me just as much as I care about him, but nothing can become of it anymore. Things have grown too complicated. It hurts the both of us to try to move on and we smile and joke around as if nothing is going on between us, but that is what we have to do to mask the pain. We will always be best friends and nothing else.
