Relay For Life 2010 Recap

I was suppose to make this awhile ago, but never got the time or motivation to make it till last night. I spent a total of 5 hours on it. 3 hours of it being rendering and uploading (very slow internet). I used two songs: Chris Brown: Yeah 3X and Classic Crime: Seattle. Not going to lie, not my best work, but I really wanted to get it done.

In other news purple glove dance part I is coming along alright. Filmed Saturday at an Asian church. Keyword Asian. But going there I had no idea what I was getting myself into, in that I thought there would be a dance prepared, but turns out that there wasn't. But things turned out pretty good. Kenny and I brainstormed for awhile and finally figured out something to do since a good chunk of them were too shy to dance in front of the camera. Filming for this video, we have had a lot of drawbacks and just plain annoying troubles. How? Well...

1) Footage we shot on Friday was lost. Don't know where it went but its gone
2) A lot of people are bailing on the day of filming
3) My computer is dying, so I haven't been able to actually watch the footage while I edit so I'm relying on pure luck, and skill to edit. That or rendering the clip after I make a change to see it in a media player (which takes double the time)

 Hopefully in the end, this all will come together really nicely. Massive hopefully...Anyways heres the recap video:

High Five Trailer

Filmed this in December, finally became not lazy and edited it. Well the intro was what toke the longest, than just put a few of the clips together to make a trailer. This is my first trailer, so I realized there is actually a lot of things I should have done to make it better. I used After Effects CS4 for the intro(used tutorials from videocopilot-Great place for tutorials check it out!) and Sony Vegas for the overall of putting it together. It was loads of fun making and filming, great cast to work with.

Old Spice Meets Relay For Life

One project done two more to go. Yes, we did it we made an old spice relay for life commercial! This video stars UW Senior Cory Foster. He wrote and directed this video. I just filmed and did the editing with a little assistance in directing. This is my first time, not counting weddings etc. where I had to use the actual audio clip we filmed. Very exciting stuff.
